Welcome to the NavCoin collective

Welcome to the NavCoin community!

For now, this is just a test run at finding a way to help coordinate our efforts.

First thing you should do - create a profile
  1. Create your profile (and add an image).
  2. Add 'tags' to your profile to show what you're skilled at (e.g. writing, designer, javascript etc). To do this - click on your profile image at the top right of the screen, click on 'Account Settings, and then click on the 'Settings' tab (on the left-hand side).
  3. If you're part of a team, then at that into your 'title'.
  4. If you're looking for a team, then mention that in your profile so that others know to reach out.
How to get started
  1. Create a profile for yourself, and list your skills.
  2. Have a look at the teams, to see who's doing what.
  3. Decide if you want to join a team, or start your own.
  4. Get involved!

How this platform works

The community collective is an open-source space that forms an important part of our decentralized governance.

Anyone can contribute to NavCoin, and this is the space to find the best way to do that.

Each team creates their own Space where they can communicate/plan/strategize.

How do I get involved?

The first thing you should do is get an overview of what's happening by looking at all the teams in the Team Space.

What are our goals as a community?

When thinking about how you can help the NavCoin community, there are three core pillars you can assist with:

  1. General awareness - promoting NavCoin to new audiences
  2. Attract more developers - to contribute to the protocol or build on top of NavCoin
  3. Increase adoption - helping businesses accept NavCoin
  4. Building the NavCoin community - helping more people get involved

Check out our page on ways you can contribute to NavCoin - it lists a huge range of tasks/roles/activities that you can get involved with.

How to join a team?

Join their Space and introduce yourself. Some teams will be invite only, while others are open for all. Feel free to join as many teams as you have the time/expertise for.

How to start a team

If you think there's a gap - then start a team! Find something that no one else is doing, and/or play to your strengths with the skills you have. Go into our Discord channel, and promote your team & why you think it'll help the project.
